News: If you’re looking for a therapist for teens, young adults/college students, women’s issues, or issues related to aging, please have a look at my private group practice -

Sirona Counseling LLC.

Vincent is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the Farmington/West Hartford, CT area. He provides services in Psychotherapy, Counseling, Parenting, and Psycho-education. Vincent prefers clients come to sessions in-person, however virtual sessions are available for certain situations.

New clients will be considered on case-by-case basis, though Vincent’s schedule is currently near full. You can e-mail anytime to find out if there is a spot that works for you, just click the e-mail button at the top or bottom of this page. Vincent is also able to provide consulting services to anyone out of state, at a cash rate, utilizing virtual meetings.

Specializing in men's issues means Vincent is interested in getting more men into therapy. Men's issues include relationship problems, work issues, new to fatherhood, struggles with masculinity, machismo, and the pressure of traditional ideals regarding men's roles in the family (see the “about” section).

He also specializes in treating all forms of anxiety including stress, fear, social, worry, sleep problems, and life changes.

Please see ‘about’, ‘payment’, and ‘policies’ pages to learn more about how treatment might proceed, what types of therapy Vincent provides, insurance and payment methods and whether he’s the right therapist for you.

Some main focuses of Vincent’s therapeutic approach: to break old habits, challenge old ideas to gain new perspective. To create new healthy habits and teach new skills. You’ll talk a lot about becoming flexible, communicating more effectively, taking care of yourself, and feeling comfortable with being vulnerable. These are all key to making changes in your life.

Potential clients (that’s you) are encouraged to view the ‘policies’ page for a brief explanation of practice and privacy policies, specialties, and insurance & payment information.

If you’re a master’s level clinician (LMSW) working on clinical hours toward licensure and are looking for an LCSW to provide supervision hours, I offer this service on a case-by-case basis for a fee.

I also offer private practice coaching and guidance for therapists who’d like to move into private, such as marketing, office setup, communications, forms, documentation, insurance, and payments.

It can take a long time to feel comfortable contacting a therapist. Take your time and think about what you’d like to work on in therapy. Talk to friends who have been to therapy, if you find that helpful. You can e-mail me if you have any questions but aren’t sure if therapy is right for you at this time.
